Finally, a vegan cheddar that tastes like cheddar! We’ve combined our cultured curd with Greenman’s ESB and a little vegan magic to create a cheese that has to be tasted to be believed!

Cheese and crackers? Mac and cheese? Broccoli cheddar soup? This cheese is up to the task! We combined our creamy, probiotic-rich cashew base with a bit of beer and a little magic to make a dairy-free cheddar that will have you saying, "I can't believe its vegan!"

Shelf Life / Storage
All of the products will have a sticker with a Best By Date on them when purchased. Our wedges are dated for 8 weeks out. All of our products can be frozen for up to 6 months without any adverse effects to the texture. We recommend keeping it in its original packaging, but plastic wrap and/or ziplock bags will work as well. Once opened, we suggest consuming all products within one month.
Darë was brought into existence by chef, Gwendolyn Dare Hageman, who spent most of her life as an omnivore inspired by her chef Dad. The two had a snack ritual involving a block of cheese, a pack of crackers, and a knife. When Gwendolyn decided to pursue an animal-free lifestyle, the thought of losing her favorite snack sent her searching high and low for a sufficient substitute.
